Volunteer on the Olympic Peninsula of Western Washington State.....
The Forks Timber Museum has two part-time paid staff and volunteers - some have been with us for many years. It is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and is more fun than it is work. We are always in need of volunteers to work the museum front deck, meeting visitors and answering their questions about the history of Forks and the west end of Clallam and Jefferson Counties. Please contact the museum Director, Bryon Monohon at info@forkstimbermuseum.org or call (360) 374-9663 for more information.
The Forks Timber Museum is also an attractive destination for Workcampers, i.e RVers who are looking for free extended utility hookups in exchange for museum volunteer duty. Typically these are needed from May thru September, the busiest time for the museum. Interested parties should contact the museum Director at info@forkstimbermuseum.org. You will be required to provide a resume and references with phone numbers.
For information on what to see and do on the Olympic Peninsula, contact the Forks Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center at forkswa.com or visit the Olympic Peninsula web site at olympicpeninsula.org.
There is always an opportunity for locals to volunteer at the Museum.
